slowpoke I have had one in my 46 along with a normal CAS am/fm radio. It has worked fine for probably 15 years, other than the cd changer always returns to the first cd after restarting the car. Now I have a Secret Audio unit in my 40 with a 10 disc changer. This changer worked lousy, only playing the first cd, and sometimes none at all. I called CAS and their tech said their current products won't work with 10 disc changer, they only sell 6 disc and that is all that will work with their Secret Audio. Being the stubborn guy I am I did not take their word and switched to cd changers. Lo and behold, the older one out of the 46 works in the 40 and vise versa. Only thing is, the older one still returns to the first cd each time. The new one works perfect in the 46 with the am/fm, but not the Secret Audio unit in the 40. Sorry this is so long. Anyone with any audio experience have any thoughts? Joe

The "thought" that comes to me is how happy I am with my I POD.    No more CD hassles for me!

They each work with the other radio, but the newest changer that works fine with the normal radio only plays the first cd with the Secret Audio unit. CAS lady told me that the 10 disc was not theirs, although I bought them straight from them. Unfortunately, bought a few years ago and  no receipt. Anyway, just hoping for a thought from someone on how to fix em. I know the newer stuff is different, but this stuff is brand new.

Nothing wrong with SiriusXM, I am thinking about adding to 40. It's just that I spent good money on new CAS stuff, and have many CD's. I have given up on CD's and will install XM along with the CAS radio now in car. The only thing wrong with XM by itself for me is no local weather. I plan on driving the 40 on cross country trips.

I have SIrius/XM in all my cars.  About $10 a month each.  It has traffic and weather for the major metro cities.  (In my area Tampa and Orlando).  I like that you don't have to tune to a new channel every 100 miles.  You also get all the NFL games.  I like that.  MC

I get weather, traffic updates as well as a good selection of music. Not the same old song over and over again. I never lost reception under bridges in my garage or anyplace else and I even drove in North Carolina in the mountains and had perfect reception and on the Ferry from Long Island to CT. I don't like the idea of paying for radio but it's well worth it and no commercials to lull you to sleep. It' well worth the $10 a month. Not only that you can take it from car to car with the right attachment. So now you have it in all your cars and still only $10 a month. We just bought a unit for our cruise nights and used it for the first time Saturday and it worked out great. Kept changing from 40s to 50s to 60s & 70s and back again. The car people loved it and I have a mic also now to speak to the crowd. I used to hire a DJ every week $125  but now we are saving big time.

I talk to myself.  Basically, because of the way SAT technology works-- you should be good anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere (North America side).  MC

What ever happened to the art of thinking?  Must we be intertained every minute?

Oh wait, I'm sorry, got off track.................... That was my argument to people with cell phones "glued" to their heads!
