Jerry, sorry to hear about the stationary crash. You have had it on the road for some time and odds caught ya. Looks like Fla is getting all the rain the West needs (and then some). To date this year we have had 0.3 inches. My Miata needs a new top but not necessary in the sunshine. Hope everyone in the Southeast gets thru this somewhat dry.
The Grass sure looks good
can't do much i have the Grandkids for a month trying to keep them busy with indoor activities, Cartoons and Video games, wife bought them new bikes so now waiting for better weather some time soon!

Day 5 of rain here...
send the rain to middlesville alabama. did you check the local large truck parts place (18 wheelers) they got all kinds of grommets.

We will take any excess rain you got, send it to Indiana! We have had .05" for the month of June. Right now we are over 5.5" short for the year.
I would even be happy to sit in rhe rain at a car show!!
Gary if you're talking about the manual lever seal leaking on that old C4 then you'll have to drop the valve body to change it.There is an o-ring on the outer,kick-down shaft that I would change first, perhaps you'll get lucky and that is what is leaking. Most often both will need to be done and the manual lever shaft has a 7/8" nut on the inside which necessetates the valve body removal to get off.Once the shaft is out the seal can be R&R'd.I'd find someone with experiance to help as the rooster comb and kick-down shaft need be in the right spots or you'll have big troubles. There is no bushing in those cases. As for linkage grommets or bushings they are no big deal.Any trans shop should have them, there are different sizes and sometimes you just have to make your own.
thanks Dakota for the info
HI & dry in beatiful dade city fl. got rain u would not belive . So just stayed in garage working on the roadster cleaning & found a bad trans mount.
