cr55 I know this isn't street rod related, but I'm stumped. Trying to get my 94 Chevy Truck through DMV and it keeps failing the low idle emissions test. It puts out almost twice the amount that is the limit allowed. All of the other emission tests pass by flying colors! Any ideas on how to lower it? Thanks, CR

For my daily driver E test, I always run a tank or two of Sunoco high test before taking it in.  I have heard that retarding the timing about 3 degrees will lower the idle and lower the emissions, but have never had to try it myself.

E test, just another moneygrab for the gov't...........................................................bah
