Willys33 Had the pump in the trunk and it turned over. Some of the oil leaked out but I had just enough to refill (pump is only 6 months old). Used the rest of the oil that came with the pump. The oil is clear and about a 20 weight if I had to guess. Where can I get a backup bottle for the next time it dumps?

I've always picked it up at a HVAC supply house but most of them are wholesale only these days and if you're not in the business they won't sell to you. I believe it's stocked at most auto supply houses. Of course you can always buy it online (Amazon).  Remember to change it often as the efficiency drops as it becomes saturated and contaminated, plus you'll wear your pump out sooner. Always preferred Robinair or JB vacuum pump oil. Hint: change oil while hot and check if correct amount has been added while running.

*use only vacuum pump oil in a vacuum pump*
