How to find seats
I have been spending the last couple of weeks trying to figure out how to get seats. I took measurements from the base that is in the car now. I then went to a couple of salvage yards with the measurement thinking that I could just use that to find seats but they said they couldn't help me with just the bolt pattern so I went and took a seat out and brought that with me. One said that I had a side mount? I guess the slider is screwed to one part of the side of the seat and that he had nothing there. I was able to search another junkyard but all they had was junk and I really don't know what I'm looking at. Is it that hard to get seats to fit or is it simply that I could get any set and find a mount that fits them? When I was at the junkyard I saw that a lot of the seats were just bolted to the floor. Well thanks again for helping me move along with this car.

  • You will more than likely have to make new holes. I usually use some of the Toyota seats. Cheap and decent looking. Several times I have used LEXUS.
