  • Gauges look and perform GREAT! Just upgraded to their new speedo/tach combo gauge in one and it is awesome too. Had a small problem with a digit display for the odometer, called their tech support and they sent a new gauge just like that! Very pleased!

  • I emailed them with questions and got a response within a day. Talked back and forth several times with their rep "Fred", he was very informative and a gentleman. Ordered a set, be here on Wednesday, I'll let you know how they work.
    Thanks everyone

  • Considered them a few years ago. Went to their web site for tech info and a catalog. . Took 7 emails to finally get a response over a 5 week period, You try to contact them.........

Used Stewart-Warner on 2 newstalgia hot rods = click, click noise, face would fog up, goofy 4 mph increments.. Poor answers from SW.

Tried Cyberdyne Digital 2 times. OK.

Been using Dakota Digital since 1989. Never a problem. Tech is great. broad selection. Other good stuff. Lifetime warranty.

  • Thank you, good points. I'm thinking of upgrading to digital for a new look, I'll look at some other options as well, thanks again.

  • I do know Dolphin Gauges. Have them in my '46 Ford. I have had very good luck with them. I chose Dolphin because at the time Dolphin was only company that offered a 5" speedometer and Tach. Great company to work with.

  • 27ratrod Great advice. The last 10 cars I have built I used the Dolphin sets. Good quality and no issues so far. Priced right as well. I have had several cars with the Dakota Digital and some work very well and some have not. I would say about half have worked and the other half had issues.

  • I have never heard of them. But if you like them, then get them from summit Racing only. They stand behind everything they sell. Good Luck.
