We are looking for door glass for a 1941 Chevy Coupe
We would appreciate any recommendations on where to purchase door glass for our 1941 Chevy Special Deluxe Coupe. We did have one ordered from Chevs of the 40s but they said they didn't have any in stock.

Thank you,

The price of flat glass is determined by square inches.
Measure the good glass and call your local glass shop.
Use the good glass as a pattern.

  • just bought a windshield and side window for my 57 Fod Wagon from Auto City Classic. Good stuff, but make sure you look at the shipping cost = $$$$ The price you showed for the local shop is a good price. I paid that much about 15 years ago for 34 Plymouth glass. Was $100 per window.. $200 for a flat windshield

  • Thanks for the suggestion of a local glass shop. We have had a recommendation of a glass shop that a friend of our has used. We just called them and they can do it with no problem and it would be $100 to $300. Seems pricey to us. We will probably go ahead an order a window from Auto City Classics pretty soon.

  • I agree with the local glass shop.
    Quick, inexpensive, and easy.
Plus I bet you will get a better fitting job.
    Have you done it yet?

Any local auto glass shop can cut that flat glass.
Use the other door glass as a pattern.
We had 18 1941 Chevies at one time. I got only one on the road. I was born in 1941.

  • What comes to mind is an Ebay seller called Bob's auto glass. I was going to mention Chevy's of the 40's also, but as you said...
